Traditional Building Training
For a number of years the Trust has worked with partners to provide property owner training. National Maintenance Week in November each year, provides an opportunity to highlight the simple truth that on-going maintenance is the best way of conserving historic buildings and avoiding the build up of significant repair costs for the future.
Property Owner Training
In recent years the Trust has worked with the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, Historic Environment Scotland, Construction Industry Training Board, Aberdeen City Council, the Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre and Aberdeen Solicitors Property Centre to bring together speakers who specialise in caring for historic buildings. Contact us if you’d like to find out more.
Contractors
When there is sufficient demand the Trust can sometimes organise specific contractor training courses in collaboration with other organisations in order to allow contractors working on traditionally constructed buildings to enhance their skills. Contact us if you’d like to find out more.
