Recordings of Aberdeen Heritage Lectures 2023 are now available on Aberdeen City Heritage Trust’s website .
The lectures offer an opportunity to find out more about what is happening in Scotland and in the North East and contain information that could be a useful contribution towards continuing professional development as well as for general interest. Presentations on climate change, National Trust for Scotland properties, Finzean Bucket Mill and historic churchyards all feature.
A range of lectures from earlier series are also available including the Trust’s 2022 Annual Lecture on local architectural hero, James Gibb(s) , one of Britain’s most influential architects who, through his publications, played a part in shaping western architecture in the 1700s.
The Trust recognises the support of contributing experts and Historic Environment Scotland in delivering the lectures.
