Aberdeen Heritage Lectures 2021
Aberdeen Heritage Lectures 2021, organised by Aberdeen City Heritage Trust have begun!
Last night saw the first of this year’s Aberdeen Heritage Lectures given by Gordon Watt of Morning Glass Designs.
Gordon presented a richly illustrated A-Z of Stained Glass in the North East of Scotland and highlighted some of the typical repair issues encountered over a number of years of repairing and restoring leaded glass windows.
Other speakers- Simon Green and Moses Jenkins of Historic Environment Scotland, Roz Artis of the Scottish Lime Centre Trust and Professor Ian Davidson- will cover a range of subjects related to the historic built environment which will have local and more universal appeal to building professionals, traditional property owners and others.
The events, taking place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm until 24 March 2021 are free to attend with donations to the Trust welcomed.
