Natural ventilation should not be blocked up to prevent draughts.

Check that gulleys and drains are working properly and consider control and/or removal of climbers or parts of trees that may be damaging to walls or cause blocked gutters.

Check boundary walls and railings and make sure they are in good condition. Where necessary take appropriate remedial action.
