Morning of free maintenance advice6 Nov 2013
A morning of free repair advice will be available as part of National Maintenance Week in November 2013 in Aberdeen.
Hosted by Aberdeen City Council (ACC) in the Town and County Hall on the morning of Saturday 23rd November, there will be an opportunity to ask an expert about your traditionalbuilding in a surgery or look at some of the maintenance issues on a guided walk led by Trust Project Officer, Douglas Campbell.
The event is organised by Aberdeen City Heritage Trust, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), Construction Skills and Aberdeen City Council. It forms part of a week of activity across the UK to highlight that well considered, early intervention is the most cost-effective way of looking after historic buildings.
Experts will include Ewan Hyslop and Moses Jenkins of Historic Scotland, Building Pathologist Bill Revie, Stonemason Duncan Strachan and Engineer Stuart MacPherson. The event is being facilitated by Marc Ellington of the Scottish Traditional Skills Training Centre.
We are delighted to have the support of Aberdeen Solicitors Property Centre for the first time in 2013.
Places are limited and must be booked by contacting Alison Simpson at Aberdeen City Council: email@example.com
